Water Challenge Feb 2018

The municipality has regrettably noted that there is water quality challenge within the municipal jurisdiction.

The municipality has since decided to bring forward the annual routine maintenance process of cleaning and sterilizing the 12 reservoirs which will commence at the beginning of March 2018 and will last for a period of 3 months to urgently address the current situation.

The community is sensitized of water challenges and requested to;

1. Be cautious to treat water by boiling and purifying before consumption, and
2. Use water sparingly as the challenge of water shortage, like other parts of the country is also imminent in our area.
